What stuff did I bought and How much did it cost for my grocery?

HELLO EVERYONE!

Grocery shopping here in Japan or in a Japanese supermarket can be frustrating if you don't really speak or read in Japanese and most staff in Japanese supermarket don't know how to speak English so literally you will just keep on nodding and smiling to whatever words they will say. (Reality) It happened a lot of times on me. Hahahaha

Anyways, in my case I do my grocery shopping once a month. Why?

  1. The supermarket is far. I need to take 2 buses to get there.
  2. You can save time. In my case I need to because I only had 1 day off in a week. And I live in a small place and the bus that will go to the supermarket will just take thrice in a day.
  3. Save Money. The less time you will stay in a store the less stuff you buy.

Today let us take a glimpse on What stuff did I bought? and How much did it cost?

Before I go to supermarket I will make sure that I already have a list of my purchases just to make my grocery shopping easier.

I love this supermarket because it is big and it is more cheaper than the other supermarket and also all the stuff that I want to buy is there.

When I'm at the grocery store I first go to the vegetable corner then at the meat corner and lastly to other stuff that I need to buy.

When I am done I immediately go to the cashier to pay.

Here in Japan you bag your own groceries not at the checkout but at the counters place in front. Also you need to bring your own eco bag because the plastic has a price. In my case I thought that 2 bags are enough so I bought plastic at the counters area for 5 yen.

Not to mention. Japan food is very expensive. You can take a look of the prices and compare it to the price of yor country :)

When I got home I cooked immediately Caldereta for my dinner.
