My favorite street food restaurant is 'Mama J' Bole' joint.

THE EXTERIOR VIEW

WHY IT'S MY FAVORITE STREET FOOD RESTAURANT;

Mama J's Bole' joint is my favorite street food restaurant because of the spicy and natural sweet smell of the food i eat here and the proximity of this restaurant to my residence is why i love here. Its a new growing restaurant around my area.

Bole' which means roasted plaitain(it can be ripe, half-ripe, or unripe), yam,and potatoes, with roasted fish, is one of the ancient and popular street foods in my city(PortHarcourt-Nigeria), its a food you don't prepare often in your houses and is mostly sold in the streets.

The hot spicy sauce and utazi leaves eaten with the roasted plaintain is the main reason i love this food.The spiciness of the sauce gives me this traditional taste of food, because its made of fresh pepper, palm oil, onions, and a little fresh tomatoes.

It's my favorite also because it's very nutritious. It has good amount of proteins, vitamins and carbohydrates that provides me with energy whenever i eat it.

As nutritious as it is, this food is very affordable and cheap, and that's why i love it.

LOCATION
It's located at Rumuola-Rumuigbo(psychiatric road)Road, besides Port-Harcourt polytechnic.Port-Harcourt, Rivers state, Nigeria.

THE MENU LIST

At Mama J's bole' joint, you have a taste of of foods with natural and traditional spices. Its a restaurant that sells mainly plaintain, yam, potatoes, fish.

The fish(Trachurus murphyi) is popularly known as shinny fish. It is first marinated with enough pepper, palm oil, and seasoning cubes before it is roasted.

MY FAVORITE FOOD

My favorite food at this street restaurant is half-ripen plaintain, potatoes and fish(particularly the head of fish). This meal is enriched with high protein, vitamins and carbohydrates. I love the hot feeling from the sauce when eating it.

The most interesting thing about this food is eating it with my hands as it makes me feel like I'm at home and gives me that traditional taste. I so love eating bole'.

RECEIPT
Receipts are not being issued here, but payments are made first before you are being served your food. When i visited here,I bought fish at 500naira, 1 plaintain at 200naira, potatoes at 150naira. My meal cost 850naira in total.
