The Food Diary (May 18, 2022) | McFlurry?? Jollibee!?

Days ago, our children was telling their daddy they wanted a Mcflurry, obviously from McDonald's. 😁 We were actually on our way home after a church event that day when they started to tell him to buy some.

Parents as we are, my husband and I were talking if there is McDonald's on our way home. Luckily there's one. And so my husband took a turn to the drive thru and for some reason the security guard told him to go the other way. To his dismay, we left McDonald's not being able to buy Mcflurry. 😁 Our children were sad.

Then we thought, there's still one McDonald's, but we need to go out of our way to reach there. To satisfy their demand we went there and found out there was no available Mcflurry 😂 Disappointed again!

And so before reaching home, we dropped by Jollibee instead. There is actually 3 Jollibee stores on our way home. No need to go out of way.

Were surprised that the store has a new way to order your food. There was this touchscreen device to place your order and you have the option to pay it using a debit card or thru the counter.

This is my husband ordering our food. We had french fries and Cookies and cream sundae. Much like McDonald's McFlurry but overloaded with cookies.

We ordered Five cookies and cream sundae and two regular fries. One sundae cost P53 pesos or or 3.4 Steem. A regular fries costs P50 or 3.2 Steem. Our food cost Php 365 or 23.4 Steem.

Honestly, we love Jollibee more than McDonald's. Aside from the fact that it is owned by a Filipino, we love their food. From their crispy fried chicken to spaghetti and etc.

This one here the cookies and cream sundae and fries. Love it! Though I know I need to slowdown in my sugar intake LOL Just so tempting! 😁

Times like this is a great bonding moment for my family. We don't usually dine out often. But when we do, we made sure everyone is enjoying the place and the food!
