Hello everyone here in Steemfoods community.

Preparing our food is a wholesome task. Because of pandemic I'm more concerned of our health everyday. Providing healthy food is my goal in every meal I prepare. Let me share to you my food for today.

My Morning!

Today is Sunday and I don't have a work. So I decided to have a coffee and hot bread early in the morning. Not like my other mornings because I used to eat heavy breakfast. But today it's ok because I stay in the house and when I got hungry I could easy find for food.

My Lunch!

Since I just have coffee and bread this morning. I want to cook a soup for my lunch. I went to the market and buy my favorite chicken feet and make a chicken feet soup with vegetables. Let me show you my cooking procedures of my chicken feet soup recipe.

These are my ingredients:
1/2 kilo of chicken feet
2 pieces of small Gabi
1/2 piece of sayote
5 pieces of string beans
1 piece of pechay
4 pieces of sili espada
Garlic
Onion

Cooking Procedures:

  • Saute the garlic and onion and followed by the chicken feet for about 2 minutes. Also add the chopped gabi.

  • Then add water and let it boil. When starts boiling add first the hard to cook vegetables like sweet corn, string beans, sili espada, and sayote. Continue boiling for few minutes. When the other vegetables became tender add the pechay. Continue boiling for another 1 minute. Get your desired taste and it's done.

I love eating this recipe loaded with vegetables so nutritious.

I also have this fresh sea cucumber and we called it "kinilaw balat". The color is white because it's the inside part of the sea cucumber. Together with white onion, ginger and green tomato, and vinegar. It's yummy and a very good appetizer.

I eat my lunch a bit early early cause I feel hungry. And this is my set of food for lunch rice, chicken feet soup, sea cucumber salad and a tambis fruit which I harvest it from my backyard. I had a full stomach after eating my lunch.

My Dinner!

We were invited in a birthday of my brother-in-law so we went to their house for a family dinner together with the siblings. The celebration was so simple dinner. They only prepare pancit and humba for our dish.

No matter how simple the celebration as long as there's a birthday cake and the whole family the celebration would be complete.

That's all about my food diary today. Thanks God for all the blessings and a good health for my whole family.
