Special Homemade Hamonada

Hello to all my fellow steemians. I wish everybody are good. I'm @maris75 from Cebu, Philippines. I am so blessed today because I received my monetary reward here on Steemit. I'm happy and I want to celebrate it so I decided to cook my special Homemade Hamonada. We prepare this recipe only during new year, one of our Noche Buena recipe but now I specially cook it as my way of celebrating. I'm excited to share this recipe here on Steemfoods. Now, let me show you how I cook my special homemade hamonada.

Let me start with my ingredients:

750g pork lean meat (chose rounded cut)
1 small can pineapple slice
1 small pouch tomato sauce
1 small pouch tomato paste
1 can pineapple juice
1/2 white onion
5 cloves of garlic
1/2 kilo Cooking oil
Seasoning
Vinegar
Soy sauce
Salt

First Procedure

  • Prepare the spices. Peeled off the cloves of garlic then cut into small pieces and slice the white onions.

  • On the kettle put first the whole meat. Then add the following: the garlic, 3 drops of ajinomoto, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, 3 spoon of soy sauce, and 100ml of pineapple juice-my ingredients that makes the hamonada taste perfectly delicious.

  • Then mixed it. Add water that will level on the meat.

  • Then, put it on the stove and let it boil. When it starts boiling adjust the fire into low. Boil it until became tender and until the water runs out. In such a way, all mixture of seasoning already absorb in the meat.
Boiling time was about 2 hours
and  it varies depends on the 
size of the meat.

  • Flip the meat from time to time so that the taste of seasoning and all the ingredients will absorb equally to the meat.

  • When the meat became tender, set aside.

Second Procedure

  • Prepare and heat the other pan. Put 1/2 kilo of cooking oil.

  • Fried the tendered meat. Fry it in a short time, about 3 minutes only. Flip it every now and then to avoid over fried.

  • After frying, you set aside.

Third Procedure

Preparing the Sauce

  • Make the sauce on the other pan, put the right amount of cooking oil, when heat pour the garlic, then followed by the white onion.
  • After 1 minute add tomato sauce.
  • Then, followed by tomato paste. Then, add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce.
  • Mixed it and wait for another 1 minute on fire.

  • Then, add 100ml of pineapple juice. This is my ingredients to make it more delicious. Stay on fire for around one minute, then
  • Turned off the stove. It's done!

  • Pour the sauce to the fried tendered meat. Put the sliced pineapple as your toppings. Pineapple is the best partner of hamonada. It makes more delicious.

  • Sliced it for ready to eat.
