A pleasant and warmest hello to all #steemfoods community members. It has been a long time while that I can not make a post in the community because of the disaster that happened in the Philippines due to the Super typhoon Odette. We have big damage because our house was damaged. But still, we are hoping that we can recover from the tragedy. Then we don't have electricity and our house was still damaged. I'm now leaving in my motherhouse in the mountain. # Breakfast Early in the morning, I woke up to prepare my breakfast. I cook the rice for the whole family since my parents and brother's family are leaving with us. So must prepare food that is good for the big family.

Today for my breakfast I drink only coffee with bread. I change my breakfast from a heavy meal to a light meal because it is very hard for us to secure foods in the morning. Since it was far from my working place I need to travel for almost 1.5 hours.

I only eat 2pieces of bread and a cup of coffee before I go to work in the morning. I only drink coffee this time because of the cold weather in our place. It is best to drink hot coffee in the morning especially during the rainy season.

Lunch

During our lunch break in the company, we only eat in the canteen. I buy my lunch foods in our canteen. I prefer to buy finished cook dish because of the high price today due to the disaster happened in our place.

I buy a mongo soup, 2 pieces of Lumpia Shanghai, and a chopsuey. I only spend 54 pesos because of the high price today. It's affordable for us for our lunch.

DINNER

After work, I go home to our place in the mountain. I travel for almost 2hrs. My father prepares this food for us.

It is a soup of a pancit canton with eggs. That's recipe is the only one we have in the house. We can not add any ingredients since we are far from the market.

Then I cook scrambled eggs and rice. In these foods, I make my stomach full and contented with what we have on the table. I'm happy that we have foods to serve to our family since we have encountered natural disasters in our place. We must save our food and money because we need that for our daily life and needs.
