Happy Monday my fellow Steemians!
It is great to feel the first day of the week good!
Yesterday, we were heading to Northern Cebu, and we dropped by at SeaSalt Cafe to munch something.
The ambiance of the place amazes me. It is facing the ocean.
But, what really surprizes me the set meal of puto maya, ripe mango and very rich and creamy choco drink or sikwate in Cebuano dialect.
This kind of food is really loved and very popular among Filipinos in all walks of life.
Puto maya is a sticky rice cooked with coconut milk, flavores with a dash of salt and sugar. And what gives a balance to the flavor is the grated ginger..Also it wrapped with banana leaves. The leaves preserves the texture of the puto maya and the more it is enticing to eat some..
Aside from this wonderful set meal, eating it while ignoring the time and just facing the open sea and observes the waves splashes the shore really soothes and relaxes your mind... Simply, this place is very suitable for unwinding and chilling...
Lastly, just driving without planned destination gives more adventures compared to a well planned trip.
