Buenas Noches steemit buddies/food lovers.

In Filipino culture, symbols are extremely important like carabao as our national animal, the sampaguita as our national flower, Manny Pacquiao as our pambansang kamao, and milkfish as our national fish. And if I were to choose what is my national dish, it would be adobo.

What is ADOBO?

There are as many different types of adobo, but they all have the same basic ingredients. "Vinegar-braised is the English term of it. Usually, Adobo is cut evenly and mixed with vinegar and soy sauce. The word adobo comes from the Spanish word adobar, which translates to "marinade" or "pickling sauce." If you tried it once, you'll surely look for it every now and then.

And today, I will be sharing with you one of the versions of adobo, the ADOBONG PUSIT. It's a delectable squid dish prepared in the traditional Filipino adobo style.
