Hello everyone, this is Komal Salman here. I belong to Karachi, Pakistan. Today, I will be sharing with you all; the recipe in which I’m very expert and I hope you’ll like them too. Do try it and leave a comment below. I would love to see your comments on my recipes.
Well, as I said already that I’m a housewife and a mother of a cute son. It’s very much difficult to manage time and so today I decided to share with you all my secret recipes anyhow which will turn out deliciously, definitely!!.

Karhai gosht is one the yummiest karahi our people love to eat with hot Naan and salad. I will be sharing it with you all.

So first of all, I will share the ingredients that are needed or you can say basic details of my recipe. I would like to add one more thing here. I will share the recipe of half kg Chicken.
So following the ingredients you can add as per your need. Chicken Karhai gosht is of different mediums as everyone has different tastes. Let's see if you people enjoy my recipe.

In my country, we’ve different recipes for Chicken Karhai gosht so many methods are available. The theme of this challenge is the most practical recipe, so I’ll go with my very own recipe. If you want to ask more about it, feel free to comment down. I will surely answer everybody.

Note: I am sharing Chicken Karhai Gosht Recipe.

STEP # 1:

INGREDIENTS :

The ingredients for Chicken Karhai Gosht are given as follows:
1: Oil (3 spoons large) or 2 and a half cup
2: Onions (2)
3: Tomatoes (4 medium sizes)
4: Mint leaf( 5,10 leaf )
5: Corriander ( 5,10 leaf)
6: Cumin seeds ( zeera) ( half table spoon)
7: Salt ( As needed )
8: Red spices ( half table spoon)
9: Green chilies (5,6 pieces)
10: Turmeric powder ( One table spoon.
11: Ginger finely chopped .
16: Ginger garlic paste ( 3 ,4 table spoon)
17: Yougurt
18: Cloves , Green cardamom( Elaichi), (2,3 each)
19: Lemon (One qty)

Last but not the least

20: Shan Chicken Karhai Gosht Masala (1 pckt).



STEP #2 :

Cutting:

Wash all the vegetables like onion, mint leaves, ginger, lemon, green chillies and tomatoes. Cut them finely.

STEP # 3:

MARINATION OF CHICKEN :

First of all, wash the chicken carefully and then take a bowl . First Add Yougurt , turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chilli flakes, lemon juice and mint leaves. Mix it well and then add chicken into it and cover it with air tight lid. Now keep this on one side.

STEP #4:

Fry Onion and Tomatoes:

Take two fresh onions and chopped it finely. Take a frypan and add 3 -4 Tbsp oil, let the oil on medium flame. Once the oil is hot ,put all the onions in the oil. Stir it untill light brown. Don't stir continuosly.
Once the onions are light brown in colour, take them out in a separate bowl. Now add more oil if there is no oil remain in the pan. Add 3 to 4 tbsp of oil. Cut the tomatoes into two piece and place them in the pan on low flame
Once the tomatoes leave it's skin mash it with spoon or mash maker but before mashing process Remove the skin of tomato and then do mashing process.


STEP # 5:

PREPARATION OF GRAVY:

In this step, take a Karhai and add 2 cup oil in it. Let the oil come to its suitability . Now add one pinch zeera, that brown onions and mash tomatoes. Stir it properly. When oil leaves the mater , add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and then stir until it mix properly.
Now add that marinated chicken and stir them. As we already added turmeric powder, red chili powder and flakes . Add chicken Karhai Gosht Masala as per taste , ideally 3-4 tbsp .
Add salt as needed and mix it.
You can add more spices in the same time if you eat spicy.
Stir it because Yougurt will leave water. So stir it until the water is evaporated completely. And oil will appear on the upper surface of the gravy.

Step #6:

FINISHING & PRESENTATION:

Check if the chicken is properly cooked. Now take ginger and cut it into long strips. Chop Corriander finely. Also cut green chillies from the center into long pieces.
Remove the utensil from stove and add ginger, coriander leaves and mint leaves for a good presentation. Pour some lemon juice on top of chicken Karhai Gosht.

Step # 7:

READY TO EAT:

Now chicken Karhai Gosht is ready to eat with hot Naan and salad. Enjoy the meal!.
