🌻Mango Club Wrap Recipe🌻

Hello esteemed colleagues,

How are you All doing? Today we are making a show stopper that will surely wow your guests, friends, or family. This recipe is a variation of the famous California Club Wrap where they usually add slices of rotisserie chicken or turkey as filling.

We will be using Filipino mangoes as the highlight of the dish, as Filipino mangoes are amongst the best in the world. They're juicy, plump, and sweet, which compliments well with the other ingredients and also cuts the saltiness of the bacon.

This dish is also perfect for your kids snacks or to have for dinner. They are easy to make and you can also make them ahead of time as they can be served cold. Here are the ingredients and procedures to this delicious and portable dish.

Mango Club Wrap Ingredients

Good for four servings
4 flour tortillas
2 pieces Ripe Mango (sliced into strips)
150 grams Cooked Bacon
50 grams Bionda Lettuce (shredded)
1 cup Cucumber (peeled and cubed)
4 tablespoons Best Foods Mayonnaise

Flour Tortilla Ingredients

Dry Items
250 grams All Purpose Flour
250 grams 1st Class Bread Flour
1/4 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Kosher Salt

Wet Items
220 milliliters Water
70 milliliters Corn Oil
20 grams Salted Butter

How To Make Flour Tortilla

Start by sifting 250 grams 1st Class Bread Flour and 250 grams of All Purpose Flour into a large bowl.

Next step, add 1 teaspoon Salt, 1/4 teaspoon of Baking Powder into the flour and whisk to combine.

Now it's time to mix the wet ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients, starting with 70 milliliters of Oil, followed by 220 milliliters of Water, and then lastly, add 20 grams of Salted Butter into the mixture.

Mix all the ingredients with a hand mixer, set the speed to medium speed. You can also use spatula to mix if you do not have a hand mixer. Mix all ingredients for about 1 minute. Continue to mix for another 1 minute until dough becomes well combined and smooth.

Dust counter with flour, pour out your dough on the dusted counter and flour the top of your dough. Do not knead the dough, you just have to shape into a ball until it's no longer sticky.

Now divide dough into 4 equal portions on a lightly floured surface then turn each piece to coat with flour and form each piece into a ball using your hands.

Roll each dough using a rolling pin and flatten each piece into a rough circle about 9-10 inches in diameter. You may stack flattened dough with parchment paper in between tortillas. Rest for 10 minutes before cooking.

After the rest period, heat a large pan over medium heat then place one dough circle into the pan and allow to cook 40 seconds until the bottom surface has a few pale of brown spots or you may notice bubbly surface of the tortilla. Give it a flip and cook for another 40 seconds.

Now you are ready to assemble your mango club wrap.

First, spread Best Foods Mayonnaise over warmed tortilla and place some lettuce on it.

Then add your mangoes, cucumber and bacon on top. Roll and snug like a burrito.

Slice Mango Club Wrap in half then transfer to a serving plate.
