How are you all doing? Today I am going to show you how to make Coconut Lamaw, another Filipino summer refreshment that is uniquely delicious. It is a beverage made of coconut water, milk, scraped young coconut meat, crushed peanuts, sugar, chipped ice, and biscuits. Yes, you heard that right, a drink with peanuts and biscuits, but trust me it makes sense. The peanuts adds texture, biscuits thickens the drink, and subtle saltiness compliments with the other ingredients.

Many Filipinos enjoy coconut lamaw as it is healthy, easy to make and it takes very little time. And to get started, we need to prepare a few ingredients.

2 pieces Fresh Coconuts
3/4 cup White Sugar (or adjust to your liking)
100 grams Galletas de Patatas
30 grams Plain Peanuts (crushed)
2 cans Carnation Evaporated Milk (125ml)
2 pieces Tube Ice

Directions:

First, remove the water from the coconut fruit and put in a pitcher. Cut the coconuts into halves and scrape the flesh and put also in a pitcher.

Second, Add 3/4 cup of white sugar, 30 grams of crushed peanuts, 2 cans of evaporated milk followed by the biscuits.

Third, stir thoroughly then add ice. Then stir again nicely until sugar is fully dissolved.

Now you can enjoy Coconut Lamaw in glass or used jar.
