Boiled Yam and Eggs in tomato sauce
Good day fellow food lovers, today I prepared a popular Nigerian breakfast; boiled yam and eggs in tomatoes sauce. You can make this very simple yet delicious meal with just a few ingredients.
| INGREDIENTS | QUANTITY |

| * Yam | Half |
| * Tomatoes | 8 |
| * Onions | 1 bulb |
| * Pepper | 3 |
| * Eggs | 2 |
| * Veg. Oil | 100ml |
| * Seasoning | 1 cube |
| * Spices | 1 teaspoonful |
| * Salt | 1 teaspoonful |
PROCEDURES
- Cut the yam and peel off the back, wash thoroughly and put in your pot, cover with water and add salt. Turn on the stove on high. Cook till it is soft then remove the water.
- Chop your tomatoes, onions and pepper.
- Place a clean pot on fire
- Add oil, let it heat up
- Add onions, let it fry for a minute
- Add the tomatoes, fry for 4 minutes
- Add the pepper and stir thoroughly.
- Add the seasoning and spices and a pinch of salt
- Finally, add the eggs. Do not stir immediately, reduce the heat on the stove and allow for a minute before stirring.

The yam and eggs looks yummy. We buy alot of yams from your country Nigeria and import to Cameroon to sell. The yams we grow here are different from yours. I especially used white yams when I've got a party, I cook and serve with vegetables, or pound it and serve with meat soup.
