I Welcome you to my African kitchen located at Orji, Owerri of Imo State, Nigeria. I know how to make varieties of delicious meals, especially indigenous and native foods. so relax as I show you the steps on how to prepare african salad (aba-cha).I went to the market and bought some items for the preparation of this african salad, in their fresh state. The steps in preparing this kind african meal is not difficult and Cumbersome, as anyone in the world can prepare this african salad using my step-to-step guide.Let me first of all show you all the ingredients bought.

INGREDIENTS

  1. Dry african salad

  4. Palm oil

METHOD OF PREPARATION
Step one:
I boil hot water and pour the water inside the bowl where the dry african salad is. Allow the hot water to soften the african salad for about 3-5 minutes. After 5 minutes, pour it out and allow it to drain out some water.

Step two:
I put the african salad into the pot wherein I added pepper,salt, crayfish, Ukpaka (african oil bean),

Step three:
I added Palm oil to the african salad and I stired it.

Step 4:
I also added ngú to the palm oil for it to look attractive so that water will not be one side and the palm oil will not be on one side.

Step 5:
I added the garden egg leaf and I stired it.

Step 6:
I added garden egg seed to the african salad. I stired and now my african salad food is ready for consumption.
