Simple Dessert- Steamed Bread Pudding

Making pudding is always family favorites. So we like to have dessert for the afternoon. It is a perfect time to have dessert when all the family members are home. This time Steam Bread Pudding is on the dining table. But how does bread become pudding? Yes it is surely can.
Pudding is a dessert that always served in many kinds of events, ceremony and party. My big family love to have this during Ramadhan month. Every breakfasting there are a lot of good food on the dining table. I definitely will pick up a small pudding cup of this steamed bread pudding.
Every country has is its typical dessert. This one comes from Aceh. We call it Rueti Teuseuôb. Making this pudding is so easy and simple. You can take you leftover bread and turn it into a new yummy food. With super simple measurement you can easily make it on your own. So why not try this one this time?!
- 1 cup eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup coconut milk
- A pinch of salt
- Pandan essence
- Cinnamon powder
- Jackfruit slice
- Whisk eggs and sugar until light.
- Add in salt and coconut milk. Mix well.
- Heat the steamer.
- Chop the bread and put into the pudding cup.
- Pour the eggs batter.
- Steam in medium heat for 20 minutes.
- Now you can serve.
This is the easiest way to make this pudding. You can make it without any electrical help. We also have another way in adding bread to the pudding. You can tear the bread and put to the bowl or you can mix the bread into the batter and add some jackfruit slice. Ready to serve.
