Greetings under the heat of the sun from our country, Philippines to yours.

I was inside the car while taking these photos because this was our joy ride with a cause;giving of lunch meal to the street children we meet on the street.

It's my friend's birthday and to uniquely celebrate her day, she suggested to donate lunch pack to street children. This is what we also love to do. A total of 50 packs of food lunch with juice sachet with an overall total of P 2,825.00 (approximately 100 STEEM).

While we are stuck in the traffic light, it is advantage in our plan because there are children we meet on the street. While others are bothered by the traffic, we enjoy it by giving food lunch to this children at exactly lunch time.

We first met the beggar child. He was busy asking for penny in every car and seems hungry since it is lunch time. When he knocked our car window, he was amazed when we gave him a food package with a juice fit for his lunch. He was happy and seems excited to eat his lunch meal.

Another child we met is a face towel vendor. In his age, he is expected to play and study but here he is selling a face towel under the heat of the sun. It is expected that this child took lunch already but he actually haven't. As he received the pack lunch, he stayed on the side to eat his lunch.

A child we saw bringing a sack under a hot climate caught our attention to stop. We called him and gave him the lunch pack. We saw him sitting down beside the street and took his lunch.

Another child sitting on the side street waiting for his father received our lunch pack. He was patiently waiting for his father to take lunch together.

A beggar in this lunch time is busy asking penny in every motorist and knocks door on the car. He was very happy seeing us giving him a lunch pack and a juice.

Another child who sells banana stick was our next recipient. He received the lunch pack with a smile and politely thanking us.

Since we have 50 food packs, other food packs were given to adults and other people we met on the street who seems hungry during this time of lunch.

Children are the future's hope. Instead of letting them in the side street doing things not fit for their age, parents must be the first one to encourage them to study. They should not be the one to work, but they are expected to enjoy their childhood and start dreaming for their future.

In this simple charity event, we hope we give a little hope to them. We may only meet by chance but we do hope we'll meet in the future in more lighter side of their life.
