Me entusiasma decir presente a esta iniciativa, que nos invita a mostrar nuestro lugar de comida callejera preferida, soy de Venezuela específicamente de Monagas, a raíz de la pandemia muchos de los puestos de comida han cerrado, sin embargo quiero mostrarles un pequeño local que se encarga de vender tortas y helados, a pesar de ser pequeño la calidad de sus postres es increíble.

I am excited to be present at this initiative, which invites us to show our favorite street food place, I am from Venezuela specifically Monagas, because of the pandemic many of the food stalls have closed, however I want to show you a small place that is responsible for selling cakes and ice cream, despite being small the quality of their desserts is amazing.

Participar me dio la oportunidad de visitar este lugar que ofrece tan buenos postres, aproveche de llevar a mis sobrinos y a mi papá que tenían antojo de algo dulce, pasamos una tarde muy agradable aunque ese dia en particular no exhibieron sus productos, hablé con la cajera y me relató que ese día estaban horneando solo tenían disponible bizcochos de chocolate.

Participating gave me the opportunity to visit this place that offers such good desserts, I took the opportunity to take my nephews and my dad who were craving for something sweet, we spent a very pleasant afternoon although that particular day they did not exhibit their products, I spoke with the cashier and she told me that that day they were baking only had chocolate cakes available.

Algo que noté al entrar es la implementación de las medidas preventivas por la actual contingencia, es admirable puesto que en diversos locales de mi país hacen caso omiso de ellas, me sentí segura de comprar esos productos.

Something I noticed when I entered is the implementation of preventive measures for the current contingency, it is admirable since in many stores in my country they ignore them, I felt safe to buy these products.

Los precios no han incrementado mucho desde la última vez que compré, una ración de torta cuesta 1$, es un local apartado de las vías públicas y pequeño, pero no le envidia nada a la calidad de las grandes reposterías de mi ciudad, ofrecen servicios de encargo para celebraciones, también venden otros artículos decorativos y cuentan con una variedad de helados.

The prices have not increased much since the last time I shopped, a portion of cake costs 1$, it is a small place away from public roads, but it does not envy anything to the quality of the big pastry shops in my city, they offer custom services for celebrations, they also sell other decorative items and have a variety of ice cream.

Fue un placer participar y mostrarles un poco de la gastronomía de mi ciudad, este fue un reto diferente pero divertido, aquellos que no se han unido los invito a formar parte y mostrarnos su local de comida preferido.
