Trying Gikom's Lechon At Sugbo Merkado | 50% to @sf-charity

When it comes to Lechon in the Philippines, there's only one place we Filipinos agree that has the best version of all. And definitely, that's Cebu, my very hometown. Cebu is in fact labeled as the "Home of the best Lechon" in the country. Lechon has been one of the thriving industries here actually.
By the way, Lechon is a whole roasted pig that's stuffed with a mix of herbs and spices and sometimes with seafood like shrimps and crabs, and is skewered on a bamboo pole over hot coals. It's now commonly considered as a centerpiece in every celebration such as Birthday, Fiesta, Christmas, and the like. And believe it or not, when there's whole Lechon on the table, the celebration would really feel grand for most Filipinos.
And since it's a thriving business here in Cebu, there are now many established brands of Lechon in the place. One of them is "Gikom's" which I tried just last weekend at Sugbo Merkado.
GIKOM'S LECHON
What's good with the Lechon businesses nowadays is that it can be ordered and bought by Kilo from restaurants and stands around the city. So, it would not be difficult now for one's cravings for Lechon, not like the old-time that it could only be bought whole.
Gikom's Lechon at Sugbo Merkado occupied a pretty small stall which is just enough for its 2 working staff. Well, Sugbo Merkado has a number of food stalls offering different food items, but since I was craving for Lechon, I went for Gikom's.
GIKOM'S MENU
Gikom's offers combo meals in just a budget-friendly prices. It has a Selfie meal that's good for a single pax with 100g of Lechon and 1 cup of rice as its inclusion for only Php 120.00; Twofie meal, that's good for two as its name implies with 250g of Lechon and 2 cups of rice for Php 230.00; and Groufie meal, good for 5 pax with 500g of Lechon and 5 cups of rice for Php 460.00.
Among the options, I ordered the Twofie meal.
I got 250g of Lechon and 2 cups of rice that made me so full. As expected, it satisfied my cravings with its crispy reddish-brown skin and its tender juicy meat that's so much perfect with rice.
Indeed it was a craving satisfied and an afternoon so full.
