Good day my food buddies today I am going to share my sayote vegetable recipe. Sayote is also known to be rich in anti oxidant and can protect against free radicals. It is also known to reduce the risk of developing deseases such as heart desease and cancer.

And today is my sayote day. Im going to share my first dish which is chicken soup with sayote.

INGREDIENTS

Sayote15 php
Chicken 1/2 kilo80 php
Cabbage13 php
Chili5 php
Garlic3 php
Ginger3 php
Onion5 php
Oil5 php
Seasoning5 php

PROCEDURE

  • Prepare all the ingredients

  • heat pan in an oil

  • saute garlic, onion , chili, ginger

  • add the chicken and saute for another 1 minute

  • add water and the sayote. bring to boil for 5 minutes

  • add the cabbage and bring to boil for another 1 minute

  • then add the seasoning and salt to taste

  • transfer it to a serving plate and it is ready to serve.

My second dish is " lumpiang sayote". This recipe of mine is perfect for people who loves vegetable or people don't eat meat because my recipe is pure vegetable.

lumpia wrapper28 php
Onion5 php
Garlic5 php
Soysauce5 php
Seasonig5 php
Seasoning5 php
Oil20 php

Procedure

  • prepare the ingredients. Slice all the ingredients

  • slice our sayote in thinly fine.

  • when all the ingredients are already prepared heat oil in a pan and saute the garlic and the onion

  • put the sayote and saute for another 1 minute

  • add water and boil for another 2 minutes

  • add soysauce and the seasoning and bring to boil for 1 minute

  • place it into a serving plate and prepare for the wrapping

  • wrap the sauted chayote in a lumpia wrapper

  • when done wrapping prepare for deep frying. Heat oil in a pan. When already heat put the wrap chayote.

  • when it already turn brown transfer it to a serving plate and it is ready to serve
