Hello Everyone!
Today I am going introduce you one of the traditional beverage in sri lanka. Its called the flower of golden apple or "belimal" This is also a herbal drink.
From ancient time people has a practice of drinking dried flowers of golden apple. Therefore , it has become a tradional beverage in srilanka.
Its very easy to prepare this. Just you have to boil golden apple flowers with some water. And it has a unique taste. We dont use suger salt or any other thing in preperation. Just boil and drink it.
When drinking we can have some jaggery or sugar. It gives better taste. And also this traditional drink has a good smell. Everyone can feel the smell of it very well.
You also try this herbal traditional popular sri lankan beverage !!!!!
These days we drink Belimal regularly. it's like having a herbal tea. It also has many health benifits and 100% natural.

In indonesia especially in my place, Aceh, we also have this kind of beverage called "bandrek". The water is boiled with clove , cinnamon and some other herbs.
