My Simple Kimchi Fried Rice Recipe
Hi @imerinnnnn is here again to share all of you my simple recipe of Kimchi Fried Rice.
Kimchi Fried Rice is Korean type of fried rice I always see in my favorite Korean dramas I've always watched. Me and my cousin always cook this dish, but I'm just his helper when he cooks. But now I tried to make my own version and i did a simple version! Hope you all like it and try it :)
Ingredients (for 2 person):
1 1/2 cup Kimchi chopped
2 tablespoon of kimchi sauce
3 cups of rice (left over rice or freshly cooked rice)
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
3 slices of meatloaf
2 cloves of garlic
1 egg for topping
How to cook Kimchi Fried Rice:
Step 1. In a pan, put oil and wait for the oil to get hot.
Step 2. After the oil got hot, put the garlic for flavoring, after it become golden brown, take it out from the pan. (it depends on you if you want to leave the garlic)
Step 3. In the same oil, fry the meatloaf.
Step 4. Wait for the meatloaf to be cook half way, then add the Kimchi (separate it from the sauce) and mix well so it'll be cook well.
Step 5. Put the rice, and mix it well so the kimchi and meatloaf will be evenly distributed with the rice.
Step 6. After you mix it well, add the kimchi sauce and oyster, then mix well :)
mix, mix, mix...
Step 7. Flatten out the fried rice and wait for it to have a bottom layer burned rice or like a scorched rice so it add some a little bit of smokiness flavor.
If you smell some burnt smell, you can check and stir a little bit then if you see some burnt rice, you can put the Kimchi Fried Rice in the plate.
Step 8. On the same pan, put a little bit of oil and fry the egg for the topping.
Step 9. After the egg cooked, put it on the top of the Kimchi Fried Rice and serve it!
Enjoy my simple Kimchi Fried Rice! I hope you all like my recipe :)
