Today I want to share with you all how to prepare Afang soup. Afang soup is Nigeria soup, every Nigerian love Afang soup cause it's taste good and many others things that make people go crazy for it.

This is my first post on @steemfoods community.
I'm Goodnews OKon @imadear on steemit platform. I'm a Nigerian and also a lover of food ☺ 😋.
I love cooking and I also love eating too, cause
food is what gives us the strength and energy, without food we become weak. Food play an amazing role in our lives.

How to prepare Afang Soup

ingredients needed for preparation

  • Water leaf
  • Afang leaf
  • Meat
  • Dry fish
  • Palm oil
  • stock fish
  • periwinkle
  • salt
  • Onions
  • Maggi
  • pepper
  • cray fish

When you got all your ingredients necessary for the preparation of afang soup from the market, these are the steps to follow:

* step 1:

Wash your meat, stock fish, periwinkle, and dry fish with clean water and boil it for some minutes.
When that is done you pound your pepper and cray fish, then pack them into the pot you boil meats.

* Step 2

Wash your water leaf very clean to avoid getting the food fill with sand, after you properly wash your water leaf you cut them into smaller side. When you finish cutting your water leaf you then park them into a different pot and boil it.

* Step 3

Then you pound your afang leaf after cutting it, you may choose to cut it yourself or you tell the market to cut it for you, to less your work. After pounding your afang leaf to make it smooth. You park it into a plate and keep it aside.

* Step 4

When all these are set.
You put your boiling meat and others ingredients inside the pot you boil your water leaf and add pepper with cray fish, then put some salt, onions, some cube of Maggi and also palm oil and left it on the stove to keep boiling.

* Step 5

After some minutes, open the pot use your spoon and turn the food then taste it, if you are not okay with the taste you can add some salt or Maggi again to have the 😋 taste you want.
When that is done, you put your afang leaf and then turn it and allow it to boil for few seconds.

Wow your afang soup is really, hmm so yummy 😋.

Then you can scoop your afang soup and start eating (enjoying yourself) with garri or fufu or anything you choose to eat it with.

With those five steps have explain to you all how to prepare afang soup, you can give a try on your own and thank me later ☺ ☺.

Dear @imadear, I am glad to see you share your afang soup recipe with us hear. I really enjoy eating the soup. You really tried in cuting the water leaf and pounding the ukazi leaf.
