Today am going to share with you how I prepared poriadge yam for my family

Before I proceed to tell you the Health benefits of yam, let me tell you the particular yam I cooked, because we have different types of yam

It can fight cancer
It is brain food
It can help to manage high blood sugar
It helps reduce cholesterol
It is good for digestive system
Yam has the ability to help to assist on all these areas of health because it is reach in fibre.
Which of the yam did I cook?
I cooked white yam
The ingredients I used for the poriadge yam
- 1 Tuber of Yam
- 2 Onions
- Palm oil
- Salt
- Granulated pepper
- Crayfish
- Pumpkin leaf
- small Ginger
- 2 Maggi
- 3 fresh tomatoes

Steps to cook or Prepare poriadge yam
Step 01
Peel the yam and cut it to the size you want
Step 02
Wash the yam 2 to 3 times to remove all the sand
Step 03
Put in your pot ,add water and cook
Step 04
Add salt, pepper, Maggie, allow all to boil together until the yam is done or soft to eat
Step 05
Add onions with fresh tomatoes,add crayfish
Step 06
**Add palm oil

Add the pumpkin leaf
