Hello great chefs, it's pleases me to bring to you my food dairy game for 12/11/2021. It was a very busy day with lots of fun, thank you @steemfoods for bringing this contest it's helps makes the community active
MORNING
First, I prepared breakfast for the family and it was noodles with fried eggs, after taking care of house chores, I entered the kitchen and prepare noodles and egg for breakfast.
INGREDIENTS
- Noodles
- Egg
- Onion
- Fresh pepper
- Vegetable oil
- Vegetables

AFTERNOON MEAL
I decided to prepare our African (Ibibio & Efik tribe)meal today called EKPANG NKWUKWO it is a meal that is prepared in almost every home in my place. It is a very delicious meal that's you can even give it a try, it prepared using cocoyam as the main ingredient and a little wateryam added to it.
Let's check out the ingredients
- Cocoyam
- Vegetable leaf
- Wateryam
- Crayfish
- Palm oil
- Periwinkle
- Dry fish
- Cow skin
- Seasoning cubes
- Salt to taste
HEALTH BENEFITS OF COCOYAM
- Reduces cholesterol in the body.
- It helps control blood sugar levels.
- Improves heart health effectively
- It reduces inflammation in the body
- Good source of carbohydrate
- Rich in vitamin B6, magnessuim, potassium and calcium, so nourishing.
- Dietary fiber contain in cocoyam maintain healthy digestive process.
- The leaf in the meal is a good source of vitamin A and C
PREPARATION STEPS
Grate the cocoyam and wateryam together,add salt and seasoning cubes to taste.
Wash the leafs and keep it ready.
I wrapped the grated paste with the leaf the way I'm doing
wash your pot, oil the base and add periwinkl then Place the each wrapped carefully in your pot till it's finish
Add your other ingredients, onions, oil, crayfish, seasoning cubes, salts, fish and cow skin cover your pot, place it on your gas 🔥 for 15mins
Boom my afternoon meal is ready

EVENING MEAL
In the evening we had a light meal for dinner, I fried yam with sauce. It was really delicious
