On 12/06/2021, my wife and I visited Container 648, a barbecue place (Churrascaria em Português) and bar in the city where we live. On that day, Dia dos Namorados, is observed in the country. It's basically Valentine's Day and it translates to this, or the direct translation is boyfriend/girlfriend day. That's why we went out to find a place to eat. We visited this location before, about 2 years ago and we were very satisfied and happy with the food, service and ambience/atmosphere. The place has quite a unusual or original design. I don't know if you can see from the picture above, but as the name suggests, it is made of storage containers! Also, when you are ready to order - food/drinks etc, you use digital tablets, so your order is sent electronically to the bar and kitchen so the staff can prepare and delivery it to your table. We like this feature. 😊

Here we areWe had a look at the menu and decided to choose two drinks: Sex on the Beach (a cocktail) and 1.2 litres of choppe de vinho (draft wine) in a mug:
Sex on the Beach (left) and draft wine (right)We looked at the menu and chose the following food: tábua bacon (bacon board) and pão de casa (house bread). The bacon board consisted of the following skewers: chicken with bacon, rump steak with bacon, squeaky cheese with bacon, palm heart with bacon, beef and bacon and it says on the menu quail egg with bacon (ovo de codorna), but I think we had cheese instead. The house bread consisted of a filled baguette with pork sausage roasted/baked on the coals, covered in vinaigrette. Here are the pics:

Me being silly and posing with the pão de casa (house bread)Then we decided to order a sweet/something sweet to finish on. We choose this from the menu: cheese covered in doce de leite. Doce de leite is very popular in Brazil. It is sweet caramalised condensed milk, or maybe fudge, depending on the consistency. For me, it is a bit strange to combine cheese with something sweet, but in Brazil, it is normal, or fine. You also have another sweet in Brazil called Romeu e Julieta. This is a combination of cheese with guava! Here's the pic of our sweet/dessert:
