For a quick snack, there are lots of options available. In Nigeria, one of the most 'go to' snack is chin chin. A crunchy, delicious easy snack. Best of all, it's easy to make.

Ingredients:
Flour
Sugar
Baking powder
Honey (can be used instead of sugar)
Eggs
Milk(if you prefer a less crunchy chin chin)
Margarine (at room temperature)
Groundnut oil (for frying)

Mix margarine, sugar, baking powder and flour together, add milk and eggs and fold into the flour mix.

Once completely folded in, put on a rolling board and roll to atleast two inches

After rolling, cut and shape as you prefer and get them ready for frying.

Once cut, you can then deep fry.

Giving you crunchy chin chin. You can serve it to guest, give to your kids or just chew some while waiting for dinner or even after dinner but for me. I eat it anytime I like.

Hello @covearts, this is a perfect snack for all occasions, I would love to eat them when i watch some movie.

By the way, can it be baked?

Greetings from Venezuela

Hi @tocho2. Traditionally, chin chin is fried. It's quicker that way too. But yes, you can try baking, it's healthier but will take longer. If you do try it, let me know.
