Coffee shops are one of my favourite sit out places. It is fin to be in and can be used for quick meetings, alone time, and social gatherings with buddies.
About Coffee
Coffee is a dark brown, slightly acidic and bitter drink made from roasted coffee beans. It is a very popular drink and can be taken anywhere. Coffee is best served hot, cold or iced. To.make the taste better, it can be sweetened with sugar/honey and milk and can be eaten with various desserts.

- Coffee improves mental and physical performance and alertness (it reduces the risk of both Dementia and Parkinson's disease).
- It can be used to improve energy levels.
STEEM COFFEE SHOP
I live in port Harcourt city, the heart of Rivers State in Nigeria. In my city, food business is actually very lucrative and have a coffee shop won't be an exception because there actually are other coffee shops. It wouldn't be just the contemporary coffee shop because it will be fulfilling two purposes; a show off of excellence by providing amazing and tasty coffee and secondly, as promotion to the steemit community. Doughnuts, cupcakes and all kinds of desserts and small chops will be sold to add variety to the menu, as well all know that variety is the spice of life.
My location
In planning for my steemit coffee shop, I'll love it to be situated in the Government Residential Area (GRA) of the city. Now this is because that area is very busy and major businesses in the city are located there. More so, it is very accessible even using Google maps and has a good road network.
More so, there are good infrastructures there... Amazing hospitals, schools, business places, shopping malls, cinemas, you name it. I will cite it at Promenade complex because it is just along the road which is an added advantage. This complex is in the heart of GRA which is very busy and populated which will be advantegous yo the coffee shop.
The design
Here in my city, we love good ambience and aesthetics so I'll make the coffee shop to suit the standard. The truth is that once people are comfortable and are sure of getting value for their money, patronage and payment will never be an issue. So, I'll add some wallpapers, artifacts and even motivational quotes to spur them. Since it is going to be more of a coffee and snack shop, the chairs will have to be a bit comfy.
Thereafter, I will ensure that all of our utensils are made with high quality and has steemit proudly inscribed on them. This is actually a way for publicity as the customers will be left to wonder what steemit is while they sip their coffee. A T-shirt of steemit will be made for all staff of the shop and given to the first 50 people to patronise the shop. Before issuing the shirts,I will talk to them about steemit and implore them to sign up.

The interior has to be beautiful furnished with a pay point with two attendants for easy flow of orders. More so, it will be very cozy and comfortable with seating arrangements to accommodate both individual customers and groups. Below is a proposed interior structure of the STEEM coffee shop:

The exterior has to be beautifully painted and designed in such a manner where customers can easily take photos of themselves as this is also a means for promoting steemit.

The steemit coffee shop should be very affordable while providing good services. Below is a proposed menu:
Promotion of steemit community
Like I already stated, one of the goals of this coffee shop is for promotion and that must be achieved. First, the shirts that will be worn by the shop attendants will be the beginning of promotion. More so, a 10% discount will be done to whoever signs up and writes their introductory post...and a free cup of coffee will be given to those who stay consistent.
Furthermore, the Port Harcourt steemit community can hold their monthly physical meetings here for both old and intending members. Promos will be done from time to time to attract more customers which invariably means more chances of recruiting new members into steemit. More ideas will be gotten as we proceed.
