;Hello, steemians! It feels good to be participating in this contest organised by @steemfoods, it gives us room to show the food and restaurant in our locality and I appreciate the efforts of @alikoc07 and every other person who works tirelessly in this community.

My favourite street food restaurant

Here in Nigeria, restaurants were street foods are sold are called ‘mama put', it is usually because it is more of women that run the business. My favorite street food restaurant is known as Ndi restaurant.

It is a local place that sells staple foods such as a variety of rice and soups with two kinds of swallows (eba and fufu). Their food is quite cheap for the quality of food they serve, it is really tasty and spicy. The customer service is topnotch and the ambience is quite okay which is why it is my favorite. It addition to that, the food is very tasty. It is a place where lots of students go to eat. Even with the number of people who gathers them per time, they try not to be bias and serve according to arrival. They areopen 7am to 10pm everyday except Sundays.

One of the amazing things about this restaurant is that the stewards are mainly boys and the only girl there is the one at the cashpoint. I feel like the reason for having mostly guys is being able to withstand pressure because some customers can be very impatient and may begin to shout at them.

The location

Ndi restaurant is located in UST Road, Mgbuosimiri, Port Harcourt, a 4minutes drive from the Rivers State University Campus and my residence. It is situated just by the roadside, very accessible and you cannot afford to miss the place more because of the number of people who gather there to eat always. The environment is noisy and not very serene since it is by the road and there are a lot of activities going on in the street.
Location

The menu

As I had already started, it is quite a local restaurant hence they do not have a written out menu. What you have to do is ask them the prices of their foods when you arrive but I will make a table of menu based on the information I was able to gather from them

My favourite food here is jollof rice and hence, I asked for a plate of jollof rice with beef and two eggs which amounted to N350 in Nigerian currency and is less than 1steem. Invariably, with 1steem, you can have a good meal here and even add a bottle of drink. Very cheap right?

The interior and exterior

As earlier stated, the ambience is amazing even though it is located in a busy place. The interior is decorated with beautiful paints and wallpapers. Tables are set with about 3 chairs per table and arranged in a very comfortable manner.

There are lightings for brightness and fans for good ventilation because I can be really hot in there. The exterior is a busy street with a lot going about.

The food is served just at the entrance and then you have to walk into the hall to have your meal.

This place has always been my all-time favorite for the past 4years and they keep improving every time.
