Homemade delicious mango drink, better than any branded drink
Hello foodies!!
In my last post I shared a delicious and refreshing raw mango drink. Today also I prepared mango drink but with ripe mango.
In the market such type of drink is available with various brands, but this homemade mango drink is far batter in terms of health and taste. Fruit content in branded drinks is very less, and sugar content is very high as compared to this homemade drink.
Making it at home is very easy and required few ingredients.
Ingredients (4 -6 servings)
- Ripe mango 2 nos or about 1/2 kg
- Raw mango 1 small
- Sugar 1/2 cup or as required.
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Water to make it 1-1.25 liter
Here, raw mango is used to make juice a little sour. As sweet and sour taste make it more delicious and satisfying.
Procedure
- Wash mangoes thoroughly, peel and cut into pieces.
- Boil into about 1/2 liter water for about 1/2 an hour. A pleasant mango aroma will start to come once it is cooked.
- Cool down to room temperature then transfer into blender jar, add sugar and salt and blend to make a smooth liquid.
- Adjust water and sugar as per your taste. It all depends on how sweet or sour your mangoes are.
- Your delicious homemade mango drink is ready to serve.
