Steem Foods: Easy to Cook Pata Kaldereta/ Pork Feet Kaldereta
Hello my Steem Food Lovers! I am here again to share a very delicious and simple recipe. Well to be honest I enjoy eating but I sometimes get too busy and don't have enough time to cook meals at home. So when I do have the time I would like to share it with you.
Basically pata is pork feet. I heard this part actually has lots of Collagen. So if you wnat a natural source of collagen you may cook mas much pata as you want. Let me shar to you the ingredients and the process.
Ingredients
1 kg pork pata chops
2 tbsp onions, chopped
6 cups water
500 g. tomato sauce
2 pcs. carrots, peeled and cut into cubes
3 pcs. potaotes, peeled and cut into cubes
Hunts baked beans
Gochujang paste
Procedure
Step 1
Let’s start by boiling the pata until it softens. Then, set this aside once it is soft and tender.
Step 2
Saute onion then put your pata. Put one glass of water. Allow it to simmer until tender.
Step 3
Add the tomato sauce, carrots, potatoes then let the mixture simmer until vegetables are tender. I also added 1 spoonful of gochu jang a korean paste to add spice.
Step 5
I lastly added hunts baked beans to add taste.
Step 6
Don’t wait too long before it gets to the table because smelling this Pork Pata kaldereta is enough to make anyone’s stomach hungry. Serve hot with rice.
