Greetings #SteemFoods friends, today I want to participate in this contest to promote a traditional food from your country, that is why I present you the pavilion empanadas. The pavilion is listed as the typical silver of Venezuela.
The Creole pavilion is a traditional dish of Venezuela recognized as the national dish par excellence, it was the food of blacks and slaves that is part of Venezuelan gastronomy.
The Pabellón is a dish mainly prepared for lunch, and is made up of rice, shredded beef, stewed beans, and fried plantain, there are also those who accompany them with fried eggs and avocados.
In this case, do not present the pabellón silver, but the pabellón empanadas that are prepared with shredded beef, stewed beans and cheese. With the empanadas we can have breakfast and dinner and they are delicious.
To prepare the empanadas I use corn flour, I add two tablespoons of wheat flour to soften the dough, and give it that touch of yeast, I add salt and a touch of sugar.
So once you have the ingredients for the pavilion empanadas: corn dough, cheese, shredded beef and stewed beans, you can start making the empanadas.
The first thing to do is spread the dough, for this you need to have a plastic bag and run your hand with oil. Make a ball of dough and place it in the plastic bag and spread the dough.
Having a circle with the dough extended, the ingredients, the beans, the shredded meat and the cheese are placed in the middle of the circle respecting a margin, then the bag is turned over with the other half of the dough and the edges are adjusted .
Also they prepare empanadas of beans with cheese, if the taste of the family.
They are placed to fry in a pan with hot oil, and they turn until they see it golden brown, and that's it we have a delicious pavilion empanadas.
