SteemFoods Contest 22 | Promote your favorite supermarket | The Diamond 💍

It is another and new participation of my part with this topic I've been waiting for, in order to talk about at the Steemit Foods community: the supermarket because I have a favorite one ever due to several reasons.✨ Let's read them.

Founded initially as a small store in february of 1960 by italian immigrants, The Diamond (in spanish, "El Diamante") is the most popular and important supermarket located in my hometown by several years. So many that I'm already an adult but I'm still remember when I fell down by its stairs at the age of five years old and my father used to buy over there regularly. So, it's like a tradition to visit it and get the necessary things to cook. Nowadays, they also founded another market in Ordaz Port (close to Bolívar City) and The Diamond Xpress in 2001 but this one is currently closed by the moment. 🚫

And yes, this place has a wide history, so as a very known supermarket it's impossible to anyone in Bolívar City that couldn't get something once in the entire life. It's the main reference of quality and excellent service. Let's judge this in their imponent facade surrounded by beautiful trees and the big D of Diamond.💎

It has 14 halls with 8 cashiers and a lot of areas where you can find different products as follows: wines, drinks, snacks, cereals, flours, sauces, cleaners, fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy, recipients, plastics, pharmacy... It's a lot of variety!!! 😯 So I can't list everything, but I can ensure that it worths to buy here comparing to other places according to the relation quality/price.

Not all is cheaper of course, due to the imported products they can offer, but national products like sugar and others are as lower as the ones from other mini markets that are now in existence recently due to the current economic crisis in the country. So, for this reason it's not strange not to find in Diamond Supermarket certain products like rice, spaghetti, meat or chicken, unless they're imported because people prefer to buy them in other places. In any case, here you are the list of some items from this big supermarket.🧾

The Diamond it's the closest one to the house. In few minutes I'm reaching this important place by foot or bus.👣 And as a traditional supermarket in Bolívar City, it's the leader of its type, so you can find everything you might even think to get in one single space with a modern and comfortable environment: air conditioner, good illumination and a lovely music. What else we need to buy with pleasure?

Besides, I've good memories from childhood due to the existence of a cafe in front of the supermarket entrance, where I used to eat ice cream every time dad came here and I was accompanying him. The instant of a great travel over the cart was the best part to me but sadly it was always ended when we reach the cashiers area to pay and then finally get out.🛒

I didn't buy too much in this opportunity because I've recently visited the market, so I just got papelón (a brown sugar brick), 1 lb of plantain and 100 gr of leavening to elaborate bread. 🍞 For everything I spent around:
