SteemFoods Contest #4 - Promote a Restaurant In Your Area! - by @alegnita
Hey everyone! I'm so glad by taking participation in this new week for the SteemFoods Contest #4 at the community and I want to promote the "Angostura Café", a terrace located strategically in front of our humongous Orinoco River in Bolivar City.
This local offers a variety of typical dishes from our city too, despite of its condition of Café where it's supposed that drinks derivated from coffee are served. You can also find fast food, desserts, fried fish from the river of course and even ceviche, why not? For sure, they're growing as business and recently they opened "Angostura Grill" in a nearby place with a diversity of delicious grilled food.
In this post I'll be having the honour to present you one of their biggest specialities, in a composition of cold coffee, simple cake, vanilla ice cream and cookie: the cathedral milkshake.
But, why this name? Well, our city has an unique historic center headed with this architectural jewel of ancient spanish colony, the Metropolitan Cathedral of Bolivar City, which construction has a very particular story.
This milkshake was very delicious by the way, although they have other flavors that I'd love to taste too. So, it's also possible to find milkshakes of chocolate, passion fruit, lemon pie, red velvet and brownie, all named with words from this locality. This site has a charming furnitures that makes you feeling comfortable and the sight towards the river it's just perfect. As a plus, if you go over there at the day's dead (as you could see at the first image of this post), you'll enjoy magnificent sunsets.
Definitely I'll be visiting this cafe once this is allowed (right now they're working with delivery only), specially during Orinoco festival which is organized in August every year, because it's so peaceful to see the people by the river meanwhile you're eating a good meal or drinking a delicious milkshake or coffee with milk. Nobody has idea of this until they arrive here.
