¡Saludos! en esta ocasión les comparto un viaje que hice en 2017, a Boconó, Estado Trujillo, Venezuela.

Greetings! On this occasion I share with you a trip I made in 2017 to Boconó, Trujillo State, Venezuela.

Después de visitar el pueblito La Puerta, nos dirigimos la ciudad de Boconó, la cual es la capital del municipio que lleva el mismo nombre, en el estado Trujillo. Una de las cosas que más me impresionó fue el paisaje, está ubicada a 1.225 metros sobre el nivel del mar y el camino se volvía cada vez más nublado y la vegetación más espesa de la montaña.

After visiting the small town La Puerta, we headed to the city of Boconó, which is the capital of the municipality that bears the same name, in the Trujillo state. One of the things that most impressed me was the landscape, it is located 1,225 meters above sea level and the road became increasingly cloudy and the thickest vegetation on the mountain.

En Boconó desayunamos unas ricas arepas en un local bastante hermoso, ambientado con fotografías antiguas.

In Boconó we have a rich breakfast in a quite beautiful place, set with old photographs.

No disponíamos de mucho tiempo, por lo cual gran parte de este la pasamos en la plaza donde hacía mucho frio, lo que más me gustó fue que en la plaza se podían observar como llegaban las ardillas a recoger comida cerca de los arboles, sin inmutarse con la presencia humana, nunca había visto ardillas en estado silvestre hasta ese momento por lo cual fue mi parte favorita del viaje.

We did not have much time, so much of this we spent in the square where it was very cold, what I liked most was that in the square you could see how the squirrels arrived to collect food near the trees, without flinching With the human presence, I had never seen squirrels in the wild until that time making it my favorite part of the trip.

El paisaje del Boconó es majestuoso, observándose el verdor de las montañas, las calles empinadas del pueblo en donde aún se conservan algunas casas de tejas de época colonial. Es un buen sitio para hospedarse unos días, disfrutar del clima y del paisaje.

The landscape of the Boconó is majestic, observing the greenery of the mountains, the steep streets of the town where some houses of tiles from the colonial era are still preserved. It is a good place to stay for a few days, enjoy the weather and the scenery.
