Full Dog Anatomy Sketches - Stella and Spotty
Hello everyone! Today I am going to share my dog sketches of full anatomy. I just used an old notebook for this as it is just a practice. I drew all of them using a HB pencil. I drew two full anatomy sketches.
This is the first full dog anatomy sketch. I drew all the bones including ribs in the body of the dog first.
Then, I drew the fleshy body parts starting from the head and ears like this.
I continued with the front legs.
Then, I drew the tummy and hind legs.
I continued drawing the tail.
I finished the rest of the drawing. Here is the full anatomy sketch. I did make some mistakes in my attempt and used an eraser to correct them. Although this is just a sketch and I could have left the mistakes, they would have made the doggo look distorted so I corrected them. On the top right corner you can see all the dust I created by erasing :D
Here's a closer view of the adorable doggo. I named her as Stella.
Since it doesn't look very visible on the pictures, I darkened the outlines of the drawing along with the internal anatomy structure of Stella.
This is my second sketch of another dog.
I added more fur to him and made his head bigger as I felt that it was too small.
I added some spots on him. So he will be Spotty.
I made Spotty darker by adding more outlines and shading. I also made his tail look darker. I think Stella turned out better than Spotty but I love both doggos anyway!
Thank you for dropping by and I hope that you have a great day ahead!
Nice work of a dog depicting its skeleton. I can see the lines of its bones in the first work.
