Making Carrot Cookies// step by step

Today I prepared cookies, this time I wanted to vary and add carrot, so the children of the house consume it with tranquility, in these times of staying at home we get creative and try to occupy ourselves in things that we do little in other moments. It was my proposal and my family loved it. I think I will have to do them quite often as they have already asked me to prepare them again. The texture is nice and doesn't require much time to prepare.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 cup of sugar
- 75 gr. very finely grated carrots
- 70 gr. butter
- 1 tablespoon essence of vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- Baking powder or soda.
Procedure
- Beat the butter with the sugar in a bowl with a wooden spoon.
- Add the egg, beat again.
- Add the grated carrot, beat again
- Add the cinnamon and vanilla
- Add the flour, until it makes a soft dough, then make little balls and place them on a tray.
- We put in the oven preheated to 200º (about 15 minutes more or less) depending on the oven.
- When they are golden, take them out, wait for them to cool down and enjoy these cookies with carrots, with this recipe they came out 30 units.
Curiosities:
It is recommended to keep them in an airtight container so that they are properly preserved
