When we talk about Classical or Greco-roman mythology, the first thing that comes at mind are the main gods of the greco-roman culture: Zeus or Jupiter, Hera or Juno, Demeter or Cibeles, Hephaestus or Vulcanus. Names that remain until now in the collective imaginary due to its preservation in the oral and written tradition that Greeks and Romans left to posterity in the sculptures and engravings spread in many of their cities; in the swritings of their philosophers like Homer and Seneca, and in the chronicles that survives until now in Europe's museums.
It's notable their presence in arts and literature throughtout the centuries, from Shakespeare to Raffaello; even we can find them, though briefly, in the educational programs related to literacy, grammar and History.
Due to the big extension of the greco-roman mythology, in the following post I'll focus on the Twelve Olympians, some of the most known heores and the most important myths.
