Hello friends.

I hope you all are fine. I'm fine too. The beauty of the Nubra Valley

In today's post I share with you the memories of my visit to Nubra Valley. The Nubra Valley is located between the north and east of Leh. The distance from Leh to Nubra Valley is 155 kilometers. And it takes about 4 hours 30 minutes to cover that distance by vehicle. This was the ancient trade route that connected North Asia. Which existed until 1938. But since then China has closed its borders and since then that trade route has ceased to exist. The people there are mainly involved in tourism and hotel business as millions of people from all over the country come here to visit. This valley is also very famous for tourism.

I have shared with you a few photos showing the beauty of Nubra Valley. Which makes you appreciate the beauty of that valley. There is a road from Leh to Khardung La to reach Nubra Valley. Khardung La is a beautiful pass from where the Nubra Valley begins. I have shared the post in my old post with photos from during the visit to Khardung La Pass. Which is one of the most spectacular places. The Nubra River flows through the desert. There is nothing wrong with Ladakh being divided into desert and mountains. Nubra means "greenery". Because wherever this river passes, it turns green even in the desert. Which coincides perfectly with the name of that river.

These photos are taken from a place called terith in the valley. The river Shyok and Nubra meet here. From here onwards the river is known as shyok. Standing in front of here, one can see the place where the river gathers. Diskit Monastery can also be seen from here. Whose photos I have also shared. The Diskit Monastery is a large Buddhist monastery that was built in the 15th century and has undergone major improvements since then. It is flanked by large mountains. Which can be seen in the photos. There is a 105 feet high statue of Maitreya Buddha in front. The mouth of the statue is on the Shyok river side. The complex also has six armed Mahakala statues. The statue is very bright. The best time to visit Gompa is early in the morning when the mantras are recited aloud by the monks. Due to which the atmosphere there is mesmerized.

This statue belongs to Maitreya Buddha. Which is 105 feet high. But it looks fairly small in front of the mountains. There is also a beautiful view of the Nubra Valley. This photograph is taken from Canon EOS 7D Mark II F/13 Focal length 135mm.

The Nubra Valley, which runs through the mountains, looks beautiful. The sky in these photos is full of clouds and the mountains meet and create a beautiful scene. This photograph is taken from Canon EOS 7D Mark II F/16 Focal length 69mm.

There is a beautiful view of the river passing by near the mountain. The confluence of 2 rivers has taken place here. shyok and nubra river and it becomes a river shyok. This photograph is taken from Canon EOS 7D Mark II F/16 Focal length 50mm.

The layers of the mountain are the beauty of these photos. In front of these mountains, such a large statue of Maitreya Buddha also looks small. This photograph is taken from Canon EOS 7D Mark II F/16 Focal length 76mm.

Dust is blowing in the Nubra Valley due to the wind. Which can be seen in these photos. It also enhances the beauty of the valley. This photograph is taken from Canon EOS 7D Mark II F/16 Focal length 135mm.
