Travelgirl's Day 6 of Semi Lockdown in Sydney - First Weekend~

Hi Everyone,

With over 3500+ cases in Australia, we are still not in lockdown. Very frustrating as we see lots of pictures on local Facebook pages with crowds around shops, beaches and cafes waiting around. Can these people STAY AT HOME!! This is the reason we have so many cases and the numbers continue to climb. I have read an article, for every day we don't lock day, we add an extra week onto the end of this so you do the maths. Today is the first weekend since this semi lockdown and we made sure we did some stuff that doesn't include schoolwork, remember today is the weekend even though it really feels the same as any other day.

The day started off with Baby E getting locked in his room. This door has no lock so the actual doorknob was faulty. He woke up around 8 am and found he couldn't get out so it took us around 30 minutes to get him out. My other half got a whole heap of tools and released the lock. What a way to start the morning!

Then we started to continue to unpack at the new place. We found some old laptops and it was like discovering treasure. Guess if any of them powered back up. It was pretty exciting when we started each laptop ...

It was a pretty sunny day so I decided to have BBQ for lunch upstairs. We had some sausages, steak, onions and greens in the fridge so that was perfect for a nice lunch. We set up the picnic mat underneath the umbrella and enjoyed a nice lunch together.

After a productive day, we finished off the night watching Shrek on Prime. I haven't seen the film before so it was great to watch it with the kids for the first time. They enjoyed it but told me it wasn't their favourite lol ...
