Monument to Confucius

Confucius Monument was erected in the courtyard of the Pedagogical University in St. Petersburg in 2009. This monument was donated by the Chinese university. I photographed this monument in July last year. It was a warm summer evening. In the morning, the university conducted entrance examinations for applicants. By evening, the territory became deserted, I walked around and took some photos.

It makes no sense to talk about Confucius. I am sure everyone knows this name. Confucianism is often called religion, but it seems to me that this is not true. It is rather a way to interact with the world. Confucius spoke in very simple words about very simple things, but his words did not lose relevance over the past centuries.
