Mango Lassi Resipe
Mango lassi is a delicious Indian drink made with mango, yogurt, milk, and sugar (optional). Mainly when it is a mango season, Punjabi mango lassi cools the body.
There are many followers of mango king of fruits all over the world. Punjab is no different. Punjabis love mangoes and have mango-based recipes in almost every way of eating, which is made from raw mango to savory mango pickle, and delicious, cold mango lassi with juicy ripe mango.
Mango pulp provides a golden color as well as an unmatched aroma and taste to a mango lassi. When there is no mango season, frozen pulp can be used instead of making mango lassi.
How to make healthy Mango Lassi You can remove sugar from the recipe because mango has its own sweetness. In addition, those who are lactose intolerant may use almond milk in place of full-fat milk.
Method of making Mango Lassi:
I have used Alphonso mango but you can use any other variety. Make sure the mangoes are fully ripe.
Pour curd into a mixer jar. Yogurt is the main ingredient for any lassi, including mango lassi.
Add cold milk. I have added milk to thin the mango lassi and achieve the desired consistency. You can also use the same amount of water.
You can also add cardamom powder, a few drops of rose water, some varieties of honey or saffron to enhance the taste of lassi.
