Dentro del mundo del juego teníamos diferentes partes del mundo en donde podíamos explorar muchos secretos y objetivos del videojuego que teníamos que cumplir, los enemigos del videojuego siempre se encontraban en una dificultad bastante aceptable, que además de hacer pasar un buen rato de horas de juego al jugador, sabía como ponerlos a pruebas en algunas secuencias o enfrentamientos dentro del juego en sí, además de eso el arsenal de armas disponible dentro del juego no se quedaba para nada corto para su época, ya que a pesar de estar en lugares bastantes apartados de la civilización podíamos obtener armas con progreso en el videojuego y superando niveles, entre dichas armas podíamos encontrar por ejemplo pistolas, uzis, mágnums, escopetas, además de botiquines con los que podíamos restaurar la salud de nuestro personaje en caso de que este sufriera daño por parte de los enemigos que se encontrarán dentro del mapa o en entorno en donde estuviera ocurriendo el conflicto, la trama del videojuego fue muy memorable también y logró cautivar a muchos jugadores, por lo que no era de sorprender que este videojuego recibiera críticas en un balance en el que las valoraciones positivas fueron mayoría, además de que muchas de estas dejaban en claro que lara croft era un personaje increíble y que además es un personaje que a día de hoy sigue siendo un ícono en los videojuegos teniendo una gran base de fans y teniendo diferentes versiones del personaje en diferentes juegos, un videojuego totalmente memorable que tuve el gusto de jugar en los años 2005 aproximadamente en la plataforma de PC.
