Hello Guys,

The new @splinterlands season has started this morning and the last one ended with nice rewards for me. Today in this post I am going to share my battles with REXXIE which is a common card from Earth splinter. I usually play more battles with water splinters because I have purchased some nice and powerful cards from the water team. When I saw this battle share challenge this so first thing that I checked whether I have this card or not. Last week was Maggot which I did not have so I did buy that. In the same, I checked it first whether I have this in my collection or not because I don't play more with earth splinters.

I actually get to know about the cards which I either don't have or don't use through this battle share challenge and this is helping me to understand more about gaming and try out various strategies on splinterlands. You know what, its important to read the contest posts thoroughly because it helps a lot to make a nice post. Today I got to know that they have a collection of cards available in the MEGA drive which I am using in this post. Earlier I have been using the cards snapshots from the website but now onwards I will be using these ones so that my post looks so better. I spend some time to go through the drive and got the collection there. I am trying all this for the first time an hope you guys will like it.

I played the battle with YUTING and I defeated him in the battle. I end-up the battle with a 1020 rating.

Today battle theme is REXXIE and I played this battle with planned strategy and hoppy to share that it worked well and I won it. This is the battle details showing my cards and opponent player cards as well. Because there was a mana cap of 21 so I choose all my cards based on the mana I selected my cards. We both had the same number of cards and even his first card was Goblin which is a powerful card.

Furious Chicken

The best part of this chicken is that it does not cost any mana but saves from one hit for sure and that time another card can use and give back one hit to opponent player. The reason why I put this card in front because I can save my other car a hit and this will help my other cards to hit once more.

STONE GOLEM

This is RARE Earth Monster splinters and it reduces the damage. I kept it at the second slot intentionally so that I can get some protection from my Rexie. Stone Golem is capable of handling multiple attacks on it that made my Rexxie safer for some time.

REXXIE

Here comes the awesome Rexxie on which this week's theme is based on.

I show you some more information about this photo. It cost 7 mana and it can damage by 4 which makes it a strong card. It can also take a few hits on it but I think its much better to use it for damage to opponent player cards rather than using it to reduce hits.

COCATRICE

COCATRICE is a RARE card from the Neutral Monster team and its available in Beta edition. This is neither a very strong nor week card but at the mana cost of 2 its certainly a great option. Because its from the neutral team so I use it quite often in my battles especially when I have limited mana for the battle. It always did a better job for me so I can say its kind of my favourite for all the battles.

WOOD NYMPH

This one looks like a sweet lady of the game and it helps in the battle both way. I mean it hits nicely and also restores the portion of the monster at the front that makes better battle and I can play the battle for long. This is a common card but its always beneficial to have it in the team when playing battle with earth splinters. I have been using this one with all my battle since the beginning.

I won the battle and got 20 ratings added to my account after the battle. This is my first battle on a few seasons that started with victory and indeed a fantastic beginning of the season. Since I marked silver this season so I am excited and geared for gold this season.

My Battle Strategy

To be honest, I keep on trying different battle strategies and most of the time I am successful. This time also went well and I got what I planned for. Look the snapshot I shared here, you will notice that this is my first battle today that I played with earth splinters and that too for the battle share challenge. This is even the first battle of this season. This is indeed a nice move for me and I can happily say that my strategy worked.

I have learned a lot with splinterlands in a few week's time but there is a lot to learn and even I will keep on trying various tricks and strategies. This is just one that I tried with this battle however more experiments will make me learn a lot and I can certainly try more in future battles.

How Often I use REXXIE ?

I rarely used REXXIE because I did not know much about this card and its ability but now since I have used it and well aware of it so will use it more in the future for sure. But as of now, my answer is simply that I used this card very less. Based on my observation, this is one of the most important cards in the earth team and it must in the team if one wants to win the battle through Earth splinters.
