upside-down walk (reflections)
Today I share some images from my last summer walks.
Maybe it was Wednesday... but more probably it was on a weekend.
I was on a photo-challenge mission, and was mostly focused on reflections in the water -- which can bring some intresting fresh points of view.
All images taken with Canon 5D +Sigma 150mm tele.
Hope you like this little walk, which will warp up a bit this gloomy cold and rainy April. Believe me or not, we hade an hour snow blizzard three days ago! Tho, the snow didnt lasted even 20 minutes...
SOmetimes I check if the inverted (negative) version of the image will bring anything intresting to the image -- this time it looked surprisingly good:
There is a plane monument in the park.
I restricted myself for its reflections today.
Willow branches hanging over the water turn into roots!

Does this everyday sight looks like unusual and intresting enough?
But it definitely becomes something unusual and impressionistic, when I focus at it upside down.
This hot gold in the water, created by enchanted magic hour, one just cannot stop watching it and walk away. So I was taking pics till the sunset...
NB. The buds on the trees are swollen and already ready for blooming, and I can’t go out and photograph them properly, have been waiting for this all winter ... tristera!

personally, cane reflection in calm water (Japanese style!) is my fave, but the duck series was a great success, too, its also among my favorites. I was fortunate enough to capture this exact moment, illustrating the "following instinct" - it’s fun to see with your own eyes how the duck teaches children not to be afraid of water, some boldly jumped off the stone after she did, others delayed for 20-30 sec :)
