My Poem: Make Time Today
One of the common problems that you and I face nowadays is the busyness of our daily lives. We often complained that we have no time, that there is not enough time in a day to do all the things we have scheduled for that day. Too often we focused on the urgent without realizing that we neglected the truly important things. If we are not careful, we may end up putting too much emphasis on the minor instead of the major things in life.
We all have to realize that time is one of our most precious assets, once time is lost you can never get it back. In fact, we are mortal beings and time is life itself. If we waste our time, we are actually wasting our life. In many instances, so much time is wasted when we wait for the right time to do certain things. I write this poem to remind myself and you to make time for things that are most important to us. Take this time to sort out our priorities and make time for them today.

Connect with our Creator
Tell Him your challenges and grievances
Thank him for all blessings received
Reflect on the briefness of life on earth
Make time today to
Hear the sound of the roaring waves
Smell the roses in the garden
Wonder at the magic of a sunrise
Dance with nature
Make time today to
Spend some time with yourself
Nurture yourself
Appreciate yourself
Chart your future
Make time today to
Spend time with loved ones
Tell them you love them
Hug and kiss them
Remind them how important they are
