Today I came across a publication in Spanish from a new friend on the web, Erigo580 (https://noise.cash/post/1knj47zv), about how the gastronomy of Venezuela had moved with the recent migration of this past decade, usually known as Venezuelan Diaspora. The friend commented that the typical dish that served as an ambassador of gastronomy was the Arepa, a preparation based on corn that supplants wheat bread in the traditional table of Venezuelan food. I told him that there was a good documentary, made by the Monteávila University, about the Arepa, its history and current affairs: "History of the Arepa in Venezuela and the world", you can see it at The duration is less than 15 minutes and I find it very good.
