Today I will share with you a single verse where we are urged to live pure and holy lives, aware of the promises of God and motivated by a deep respect for him, knowing that the Christian life is a process of continuous growth and improvement.
The verse is found in the book of 2nd Corinthians, a book of sacred scriptures that I have been sharing for some time.

Therefore, beloved, since we have such promises, let us cleanse ourselves from all pollution of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

2 Corinthians 7:1

It refers to the promises of God found in Scripture, such as the promise of salvation, forgiveness, and a restored relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

Let us cleanse ourselves from all contamination of flesh and spirit.

He is talking about the need to turn away from both physical and spiritual sin. This includes both sinful actions and thoughts and attitudes that are not in line with God's will.

Perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

It implies that the pursuit of holiness is a continuous and progressive process in the life of the believer. The fear of God does not refer to a paralyzing fear, but to a deep respect and reverence for God and his authority, which motivates us to live according to his standards.

Buenas noches amigos, que Dios les bendiga.
Hoy les compartiré un solo versículo donde se nos insta a vivir vidas puras y santas, conscientes de las promesas de Dios y motivadas por un profundo respeto por él, sabiendo que la vida cristiana es un proceso de crecimiento y perfeccionamiento continuo.
El versículo se encuentra en el libro de 2°Corintios, libro de las sagradas escrituras que estoy compartiendo hace tiempo.

Limpiémonos de toda contaminación de carne y de espíritu.

Está hablando de la necesidad de apartarse del pecado tanto físico como espiritual. Esto incluye tanto las acciones pecaminosas como los pensamientos y actitudes que no están en línea con la voluntad de Dios.

Perfeccionando la santidad en el temor de Dios.

Implica que la búsqueda de la santidad es un proceso continuo y progresivo en la vida del creyente. El temor de Dios no se refiere a un miedo paralizante, sino a un profundo respeto y reverencia por Dios y su autoridad, lo cual nos motiva a vivir de acuerdo con sus estándares.
