What's The Point?
Don't you wonder what's left of Nigeria?
A country of wealth and abundance in deep hysteria
It begs the question how we got to this point - greed
There can never be peace in any country
When the love for power outweighs the love for people
Taking of innocent lives all to prove a statement - that's what they do
Oppressing the citizens boosts their ego
They don't care if the country burns to the ground
Why would they? When they have profited off the country
With the corruption money they have acquired
They can buy any country of choice or create another one they prefer
But what happens to those who have no money?
What happens to those who don't have the means?
I wonder if they ever think of the day they'd die
What would become of their loots and estates?
It's only a matter of time and their name and memory would fade
Their influence and power would no longer hold
And their children would suffer for what they have done
Because their names would be despised
While every of their works would be revised
To serve as an example of the kind of human we shouldn't be
