Life.
Every moment in life
We grow, we learn and we err
And at times,
We walk dangerous paths
To get the things that we want
And sometimes too
We kill our confidence
And our thoughts
Wander around dangerous cliffs of insecurities and low self-esteem
The elderly ones we know
Have something in common
The dreary look in their eyes
And the way their shoulders
droop from tiredness and frustration
And even our friends
The ones we shared childhood innocence with
Are gradually going out of the way of morality
And becoming machos rather than young adults
Even more
The face in the mirror scares us
Because we see a replica of our parents' dreary eyes in our face too;
Of hurt and despair
Of griefs and pain
And we know we are gradually sinking
Into the deep canal, our parents haven't escaped yet...

The grind does not stop.. Life has its way of upsetting our plans and life goals. Regardless, we can either make excuses and play the blame game or take it one day at a time till we see the results we yearn for.
