She has experienced both love and hate
She has been through some dark moments
While she has had her fair share of the good ones too
That young guy across the street too
His eyes gave him away and you can see the pain
Pain of being chased out on the street
For the mistake that he knew nothing about
Life can be so cruel and shocking sometimes
Yours might not be as deep as theirs
Or maybe yours is even more grave than theirs
I understand one thing about life - time happens to us all
Life is in two folds - the good and the bad
We seem to have our fair share of both in varying degrees
That's why they say the rich also cry
There is no one in life without a time to try
We all have our seasons, so in other's business, don't pry
We live and learn, we live and then die
We should TRY and go through every season without forgetting the lessons
There will be trying times and remember
Someone somewhere have it worse than you
It's not easy but we just have to keep going through life
With a determined mind - hoping to see the light
