Deception.
Life is not full of deception, people are
Life has always been this way, same with people
Full of deceptive words and even appearances
Not everyone is as they seem in the face
They mask everything all up like the make up
They give false value and false appearances too
Love is not what hurts you, people hurt you
Love is not capable of the hurt we push at it
People with hidden motive and agendas
Claiming to be in love but are not
Those are the perpetrators of hurt, not love
Humans can be unpredictable and this we know
Our hearts are unsearchable and that's the truth
Out of it springs up so many wicked schemes
Fueled by the appearances of things that appeared to be but aren't
Humans made life what it is today
With our deception and lack of considerations to others
When you want to give up on life in anyway
Just know humans are responsible for how things turn out
Life stays the same and sadly, that would be the case for humans too
Guide and guard your heart while watching out for yourself
Do everything that gives you a clear conscience to sleep at night

Deception is a kind of thing which makes our life tough. Because of deception some times we make mistake to know people.
Deception makes life touch. Deep.
Humanity reflects the consequences of sin because of the enemy of God, hence so much evil lurking behind an angelic appearance. The scriptures say, in Psalm 55; 21 "His words are smoother than butter but his heart is ready to fight".thank you blessings.
I love that Bible passage. I love the version that says 'his words are as slick as oil but they cut like a knife.'
Humans are creatures of habit. Our habits then turn into behaviour. Deception as a behaviour is pervasive among humans because it is a habit we have been practicing for years. It seems so normal these days that people do not even regard it as a sin. We have the ability to unlearn certain things as humans. Let's choose to unlearn harmful deceptive behaviours for the greater good of everyone.
